Martial arts are about so much more than self-defence. They allow the practitioner to gain self-discipline, focus, and willpower. As you balance and strengthen the body, the same happens to your mind (as above, so below).

The style of Karate we offer is the famous, “Go Ju Ryu”, popularized by the Karate Kid movies. Our teacher, Pay Ray, is highly experienced and passionate about helping people to develop confidence, coordination, and the many other benefits that come with this discipline.  

Karate is as much a spiritual discipline as it is a physical or mental one. It combines movement, breath control, and quick thinking – it is a workout for all areas of your being.
